The Minnesota Senate Committee on Agriculture recommended passage of Senate File 5073, an omnibus agriculture finance bill that includes provisions to allow donation of eggs past quality-assurance dates, support workforce training, adjust beginning-farmer down-payment assistance, and remove the sunset on the farmer labor mediation program; the committee adopted technical amendments A15 and A16 (annual reporting) and advanced the bill on a voice vote.
