#FedGov
oh noooo, just saw another screenshot of new fedgov ai thingy, and it seems to be the culmination of the web design I was recently lamenting: instead of organized info/services by dept/agency, it’s just a What do you want to do prompt that algo will now interpret and decide what to serve up 😕

Yup. I try to point out to the magaheads in my community that their support for things like state voter rolls > FedGov = they're gonna be cool with that with a Dem admin, right?
They fail to see how any of these terrible FedGov things sound in their own head when Ds come back around. Crazy.

Getting the sense that these aren't the brightest of folks running that there FedGov
This is like accusing someone of robbing a bank because they deposited money and never withdrew it
Assistant AG for Fraud Colin McDonald: "Apparently 35% of people have never even used their Obamacare account for any health services. That is a statistical impossibility and it's because these are not real people seeking real care. These are fraudsters."

This is good.
It took nearly 8 months.
Will this protect us in the current election?

WE are the front line defense. When the election is spoiled, it will be too late. Document everything. Petition your LocalGov to commit to protecting polls and elections, even/especially from FedGov.

I think my only real question is: why is LM using UPS? In my previous life I shipped a lot of (much less consequential) equipment to Canadian fedgov facilities on a regular basis, and avoided them like the plague. Even w/o Chinese interference, it was a 0/10 experience 😩

You ain't wrong. Between the death of Chevron, gross destruction of govt capacity in the fedgov, and a hypocritical abandonment of federalism for federal preemption, anything that came out of this Congress would be weaker than the state privacy laws we did manage to get in place and iterate on.

FWIW, people have a much better opinion of LocalGov. No shade tho FedGov. You do you. 😏

The ONE TIME in my 20+ yeas of FEDGOV service where I was *actually* paid to do nothing was under DOGE. Apparently, like the Pedo Deep State, the "Lazy government bureaucrats paid to sit at home" thing was a campaign promise.

comfort food to read when she came back from her fedgov job and was exhausted
September 15, 2026 at 4:35 PM
Yeah, same. It's unconscionable. WS, Christofascist eugenicists running the fedgov and more than half of state govs, are ensuring white men's rights, and everyone else is losing ground.

Workers, too, thanks to corporate exploitation, so the second Gilded Age is actually worse than the first.
I’ll NEVER understand their preoccupation with a relatively small number of humans who just want & deserve what all humans in the US want & deserve. The need to subjugate and “other” entire groups of people is beyond understanding, and it gains them nothing. Our country gets viler everyday.
September 14, 2026 at 11:31 PM
are not idiots so they see that fedgov will very likely not produce legislation to reduce concentration of wealth according to any partisan taste whatsoever
September 14, 2026 at 10:20 PM
tldr: no it was not “worth it”

creating vast hyper-powered fedgov natsec surveillance agency-soup bc of 9/11 was dumb

9/11 a criminal act, not act of war

US been better to focus on inequality, automation & global warming & let cops (Interpol & FBI) chase bin laden et al

US won Cold War w/out DHS

Trump admin building a NATIONAL ID database with doge flunkies and Larry Ellison stands to make a windfall.

Privacy for citizens, transparency for government. ✊

Another great report from the Drey Dossier.

Not infuriated with you, but them. I'm a Veteran and retired FedGov. Watching my life's work go up in flames with the Constitution, burned down by the stupidest people this nation ever created. Hard to be calm.
September 11, 2026 at 9:02 PM
My state's constitution gives me more rights as a trans and disabled person than our Federal Government does, it protects my right not to die from a pregnancy I can't safely carry, meanwhile, the FedGov is actively trying to kill me. The country holding together might also be worse.
September 9, 2026 at 5:41 AM
War is not ideal, I do not want hot war in the US, but this current state of affairs feels also inclined to go so very badly that, since I can't do anything about it, I can whinge about how nice it'd hypothetically be if the US FedGov would simply fuck off and leave us alone sans war.
September 9, 2026 at 5:19 AM
Good lord, can we PLEASE leave Iceland out of this bullshit? They have a bunch of neat stuff going on over in Iceland. It's already hard enough to have nice things in Cascadia thanks to US FedGov rule over us, and I don't want that for Icelanders.
September 7, 2026 at 7:34 PM
now this is some fedgov investigative reporting we need
September 7, 2026 at 2:07 AM
Ding ding ding , the post is very much a "I could get a grand jury to convict and there goes hundreds of hours of your life" and as we saw with the protesters who are now in jail for decades fedgov is very very generous with consparicy
September 5, 2026 at 11:55 PM
18 U.S. Code § 912 and good old 18 U.S. Code § 371 consparicy ie the "if you have 2 guys in a room and talk about breaking ANY law fedgov can use that
September 5, 2026 at 11:09 PM
If you believe the jobs report which was just released, I have a bridge to sell you.

It'll be revised WAAAAAY down in a month, bet.

ADP are the numbers you can believe, not whatever nonsense is coming out of the current compromised FedGov.
