I have officially become the guy who cites Felsenstein (1985) at people in peer reviews but in my defense, I was provoked

My dad had one of these (an Osborne One) because it was invented by his high school friend Lee Felsenstein. He used it into the 1990s. He did a lot of writing in WordStar.

Joe Felsenstein just posted this link pandasthumb.org/archives/202...
to a YouTube video featuring Jason (The Failures of Mathematical Anti-Evolutionism) Rosenhouse, a math professor at James Madison University. Felsenstein calls it, "A demolition of creationist information theory."

I like to joke that cladistics is the all-time "well actually" discipline of science. Cladists spent decades "well actually"-ing one another in their own journal (and some of them still do). In fact, Felsenstein may need to add this definition to his list for what the word "cladistics" means

Just want to share this wild revision history of the Wikipedia page on Linkage Disequilibrium where Felsenstein himself debated people on the correct use of notations & definitions.

After 100 years of #popgen people does not seem to be totally agree on what LD is?
