Yes absolutely, it's a whole network. A couple people are working on this, using multi-site fiberphotometry or neuropixels probes to monitor the key players simultaneously. Very challenging experiments, but I think the field will get there!

Circling back on this old post, 'same-site' #optogenetics ⚡️+#fiberphotometry🚦now works for us without crosstalk at low power stim (<2mW) using ChrimsonR terminal stim + GCAMP6s ✅. Thx @marcpisansky & others for tips+shoutout to @MylesTDT & @doric_lenses for help setting it up!

Does anyone have experience with combining #fiberphotometry (eg calcium imaging with GCaMP) with red-shifted #optogenetic stimulation (eg bReaChEs)? What system do you use? @doric_lenses @TDTneuro @NeuPhotometrics or custom-made? Any issues with photodetection during stim epochs?
