My goal is to write 200,000 words this year. Preferably all in fiction I can publish. If I hit that goal I'll be able to get my new Christmas book done, #FleetOfMalik 3 done, and have something new for my agent to shop.

The goal is to hit close to 70k by the end of the week. Realistically, it's going to be 65k, but I'll see how far I can get the book.

The goals right now are to finish #ChristmasMermaid and #FleetofMalik 3 ( #ForEveryAction) before June. Mermaid needs to be with my editor by the end of April, so that's the book in the hot seat because it comes out in December. Fleet3 is delayed, and I'm sorry. I'm working on it.

I am publicly promising to hand whatever I have to @wrytersblockdh.bsky.social by 15-AUG-25. He's my beta reader and he will have this manuscript by August 15th.

In the next six months I need to:
- write and edit the 2025 Christmas book (#ChristmasMermaid)
- Write 2 pitches for my agent (one Romantasy and one SFR)
- Finish #FEA #FleetOfMalik 3 and get it to my beta readers

That's about 160,000 words to write and edit in the next six months. It's doable.

I have at least 15 scenes left to write and they'll be between 3,000 and 5,000 words each. I think I'll hit 90k easily enough, but I promised my editor I would try to stay under 120k.

#FleetOfMalik 3 ( #ForEveryAction #FEA) currently sits at 60,000 words.

Book 1 was 90k. Book 2 was 140k (enemies to lovers sometimes takes a little bit more work, okay?).

Book 3 should be around 100k. I have 32 writing days... this is doable!
