Last July, the #FlowCountry achieved @unesco.org World Heritage status. To celebrate, and raise funds for the Flow Country Partnership, #Peatland scientist, Roxanne Anderson, is undertaking an incredible 110km run on April 18th, World Heritage Site Day.🏃‍♀️‍➡️

Very interesting - tho much of it is beyond my pay grade, as with Andy Wightman's ditto. Couple of bits of yours caught my eye:
"If there is no resident community, what then?" made me think of Magnus Davidson's abandoned flowcountry townships, and how good to be able to recognise those as 'parcels'.
