Hurricane Lala approaching the Big Island of Hawaii. That sharp line is showing the blockage of the radar beam by volcanic mountains. It's precipitating on the entire island. also hearing reports of snow at higher elevations. Haven't seen that report in my career before. Posted 933 pm eastern.

The snow got all the more weird when Joey K’s automatic evening music suddenly kicked on even though the restaurant is closed. Definitely a post apocalyptic vibe. And the choice of song made that vibe cinematic.
