I’m working on a frame for art from #FoundingMonstersComic that will be part of an exhibit this fall. Most of the art except the cover & one interior page will be 2D art representing pages from the comic. The corners of the frame are 4 different views of Ben Franklin’s mastodon molar #FossilFriday

A reunion of the folks (all @vcuchs @vcualumni) who worked on the #FoundingFossilsExhibit @thepealebaltimore
Maggie and I co-created the #FoundingMonstersComic that will also be the source for an upcoming exhibit in Pennsylvania with @widga.bsky.social All on #MastodonMonday

I gave @vcuchs first year student Lily a tour of the lab, a bag of goodies, including #FoundingMonstersComic and she kindly posed next to the left front leg of the Cohoes mastodon from @nysmuseum

I converted one of my favorite panels from #FoundingMonstersComic where mastodon bones “lurk” below the surface of the ground, waiting to be found, into 3D and printed on the new color 3D printer just in time for #MastodonMonday @noodleypie.bsky.social

Jas and I collaborated on a comic about Thomas Jefferson, sometimes styled as America’s first paleontologist. It has #mastodons #megalonyx #megalodons and 2 modern paleontologists, Brittney S and Katy S …. Plus cameos by #FoundingMonstersComic and #FoundingMonstersTales Here’s a very mini version!
