Twosday twins.

Fragrant dusty rose dayilies on a hot summer day in our garden. I split some of the bigger clusters and planted most in our backyard garden. I also added a bunch of other plants to create a dense garden bed.

The Oriental stars!

Dug out this Oriental lily bulb from underneath a winter camellia tree in a big pot and planted it into a sunny garden bed in the backyard. Hopefully it would do better with more flowers!

Scented beauties.

It's a hot day today so I am gonna be trimming 3 big old lilac trees, in the shady side garden. Saving some cuttings from this pink lilac tree to grow later. I am dreaming of a lilac hedge.🌸💜😄

These white Casablanca Oriental lilies lasted for a while and they are finally done blooming now. I cross pollinated them with the yellow Oriental lilies so hopefully I would get some seeds.

Sweetest dream.

Stargazer lily blooming in our backyard today! It's an awesome surprise since I thought I had lost all the 3 bulbs after I moved all my Oriental lilies in fall. This makes me wanna dance! 🌸💖🌸😅

A large star like pink and white bell flower. The pink petals have maroon specks on them and white edges. A deeper pink line runs thru the middle of most of the petals. Lemon yellow filaments are topped with burnt orange anthers with pollen. The green stigma is among the anthers. Dark green leaves are visible around the flower.

Perfect Strangers.

I have never seen this Painted Lady butterfly on the butterfly bush in my garden. They are perfect match and the butterfly is almost camouflage by the flower sprays.

This fabulous n fragrant Oriental lily just opened toda! It's in a huge pot with my winter camellia tree. Just one bud but I am so happy! I have been wanting to redo the pot but luckily I waited.

A fluffy, satiny n fragrant white Oriental lily just opened in a part shade spot in my backyard garden. The filtered sunlight illuminated parts of the lily showing off its yellow central veins in the throat of the star shaped bell flower. The filaments in the center are creamy yellow with burnt orange anthers with pollen are at the tips of the filaments. Dark green leaves surround the flower.

I hand pollinated a yellow hollyhock with a red rose mallow or hardy hibiscus abt 2 yrs ago n this is what I got. So happy!🏵️❤️🌼
