This. This especially rings true recently. Unless I have one, singular, overarching project to gigafocus, I struggle intensely. Switching gears from many small tasks that are all important is a great way to burn my ability to motivate and focus… a lot. Medication has helped me be able to re-engage.

I actually do fine without my Adderall for things like dev visits and conferences.

Wall to wall meetings, meals, and meetups? I shine!

Where it really helps is when I have free reign to do as I please and a bunch of stuff to get done with arbitrary ordering and priority.
