@costplusdrugs.com - teduglutide (an actual FDA-approved GLP2 peptide) has gone off patent, but the current indication (short bowel syndrome) has a pretty small N. But at $400K per year, some competition on price would help a lot. And a lower price could inspire testing in new GI indications...

People being accused of “taking drug away from diabetics” haven’t been using Ozempic for years. They either got wegovy or from much less expensive compounding pharmacies. Stop accusing people. Literally millions of people are on compounded GLP1 and GLP2 generics that don’t affect diabetic supply. 🙄

Fund Ozempic drugs. They’ve done more to cut obesity than all the hectoring and propaganda. Obesity is a disease like Diabetes. Missing GLP2 causes much of it just like missing insulin. Eating right is good for your health but encouraging it does little to fight the obesity epidemic.
