One of the few fringe benefits of T2D is being able to bring liquids- including juice!- into the airport through security.
I once pulled the "I have T2D" card after I forgot to empty my water bottle and the TSA agent just rolled their eyes at me and waved me on.

Dad tripped and pulled mum with him. She gashed her hand on some manky looking nail, and that (along with the fact our GP takes a very "you're here and we don't see you often, so we might as well MOT you" approach, is how we found out she was a T2D.

My fiance has 8 1/2 toes as a result of T2D and I stand 10 toes down on the fact that if Glp1s were accessible prior to his diagnosis his life may not have forever changed. So for those who say they should only be used in diagnosed diabetics…why wouldn’t we want to prevent this? Make it make sense
