I dont know what I'm doing and it probably won't work, but I put the vhf/uhf vertical back up and RS-44 was coming in with some strength on 70cm downlink.

I seem to have SO-50 fairly consistently now- workable passes, a couple each time- still deaf east tho. But i have been monitoring Gpredict for days now, and enough!
So perhaps just FT8 if i do radio today and a bit of cooking. A movie perhaps and gummie bears!

I use Gpredict as a visual guide and just rotate the antenna to where i think it should be- I have learned over time to make it work... mostly.🤷♀️

Firstly, nice to get a UT SSTV station while I was waiting... nicer still to get F5RRS as my first SSB satellite QSO through RS-44.
It worked!
Ft818 rx on the uhf vertical. 991a tx with 5 elements vhf.
Colour me surprised!
Erm...
Boom i guess.. tiny trophy for me!

CUTE Satellite Re-Entry with a Decodable Goodbye Song
Updated CUTE TLE from SatNOGS DB and altitude is 151km and dropping and it looks like Gpredict broke because its not showing the satellite on the map anymore. Edit: now at 147km and dropping still.
