my wife has the greatest BG3 tank strategy I've ever seen, 3 of the party are druids who turn into bears and stand there taking punishment stoically in full Gandhian fashion while she stands back & kills every enemy excited that the beasties don't hit back, she's basically doing a no hit run here

This is basically what happened in Kosovo too; Rugova bending over backwards to try to keep everyone to Gandhian nonviolence resulted in the international community treating Kosovo as under control and low-priority and didn't push for any political changes, leaving a fertile ground for the KLA.

Yes - I have been thinking about that for months now. But Gandhian resistance is predicated on the moral fiber of the OPPONENT.
If Gandhi had been in Germany he would have been put in the gas chambers very quickly.

I have a long record of very public posts making clear to anyone paying attention to my sincere politics that I am a pacifist from the Gandhian tradition completely ideologically opposed to violence. I am moreso committed than just about anyone. But it won't soothe those who wish to take me to task.
