v4.1.0 of #GemsFX now includes an AtlantaFX stylesheet for ControlsFX. You can use the method ControlsFXAtlantaFX.apply() to add this new stylesheet to your scene or any parent node. Get rid of all those pesky CSS error messages. gemsfx.dlsc.com github.com/dlsc-softwar... #javafx #java #ui #ux

I fixed a major bug in HiddenSidesPane that prevented proper layout passes for children nodes. To get the fix start using the implementation found in #GemsFX, do not use the one in #ControlsFX. (btw: I moved several of my ControlsFX contributions to GemsFX in order to speed up development.) #javafx

I am adding support for #AtlantaFX to #GemsFX. It is so much easier to use than the default Modena stylesheet and the result looks very polished / professional. Using AtlantaFX will automatically give us half a dozen themes to use with our applications. github.com/mkpaz/atlant... #javafx #ui #ux

I revisited the PopOver control that I wrote years ago. I noticed that the clipping wasn't working perfectly and that the placement logic had issues (to say the least), which caused the popover arrow to point at the wrong location. It's all fixed now and will be in the next #GemsFX release. #javafx

#GemsFX 4.3.2 is out now with fixes for the PopOver control, with i18n resource bundles, and accessibility support. I was always too lazy for the last two things but with AI that has become a no-brainer ... literally .... "no brain required". #javafx #java #ui #ux #ai

Just released a new control inside #GemsFX 2.69.0 that will allow you to toggle between a wrapped node of your application (e.g. a list view) and a progress indicator (when loading / refreshing data). Quite handy. I use it all the time. #JavaFX #Java #UI #UX github.com/dlsc-softwar...

Working on a new PagingListView control for #GemsFX. It will ship with a feature-rich pagination control and background data loading. Abandoning the VirtualFlow will give you pixel perfect accuracy. The control wraps a standard ListView and standard ListCells. #javafx #ui #ux #java
