This Saturday, come join the Goose Creek NAACP Black Wall Street Back to School Expo! A wonderful community event that brings everyone together for a good cause. Every child deserves to have the tools they need in order to succeed. Admission is free to the general public. There will be free hair cuts (limited availability), free health screenings, free testing, fun activities for the kids, food trucks and free backpack giveaways (while supplies last*), according to the infographic provided by Goose Creek NAACP. Samuel Price and other candidates will be in attendance. The event is Saturday, August 15, 2026 from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM at Central Creek Park - Casey Pavillion (147 Old Moncks Corner Rd in Goose Creek, SC). Can't wait to see you there!

previously nested in the lobby of City Hall, Vincent Van Goose was recently moved to The Creek Collective; Goose Creek's new art center located on St James Boulevard, where. small white chapel once stood.

tracking down all the new geese that have joined the Goose Creek flock has truly been the highlight of my trip. while I didn't end up having as much free time as I'd planned, I'm glad that I was still able to fit in a wild goose chase. 🪿
