I got obsessed with Morgan le Fey and then Loreena McKennitt as a kid so my parents let me watch the Mists of Avalon and then bought me the book. I read it for a book report in gr8. I don't think the teacher was expecting the incest and talk of cuckolding when she approved it.
I think so many of people’s lack of media literacy and unwillingness to consider moral complexities that aren’t strict black/white dichotomies comes from parents not teaching kids how to read as God intended: with books kids are far too young to read kept within in easy reach of an 8 year old.

anyway a more proper update: the order was approved but he can still, and likely will, contest it which will mean i may have to go to court and defend my request. i dont know how fast they'll move this process along,but ive done it before and it can be pretty swift.the stress in between tho, not gr8
