I cannot say enough good things about this book, even though I alternated among rage, sorrow, and hope as I read it.

I thought they had no appetite at all for anything gaming at this point beyond licensing R-Type and giving Granzella its old work. Maybe Konami's success is giving them second thoughts... 🤔

Granzella only own Disaster Report iirc, they dont have the rest of IREM's stuff which they themselves still icense out to a bunch of companies (incl granzella,city connection, Tozai)
Granzella is also bordering on collapse (they failed to pay their staff for a few months)

But yeah, regardless, it is very much worth going thru, even with its issues; it does make me wonder why it didn't get an official overseas release, not even a super late PSN-only one as it happened with other PSP locs (eg: Brandish), surely Granzella would've been on board.
