not for nothing, I don't think I would make a very good actress, for vague reasons, but I have eased myself into really seeing the appeal of it as an artform. it's gotta just feel incredible when you nail an emotional gutpunch

(yes, i still think Alastor is also in line to give Charlie an emotional gutpunch of betrayal from someone she trusts and sees as her found family – probably worsened by Charlie falling back on relying on him if her parents alienate her – but Lilith is definitely first in line for doing that)

This damn book 😭. Every book of his that I read is like a gutpunch that just sits with you. It just leaves you thinking about the unreliable narration, the significance of the cultural and historical backdrops, the trauma, etc. #booksky

It did, but we weren't winning anything that year anyway and were going to have to trade Hader in the offseason anyway. It was a huge gutpunch at the time, but I think it still had to be done.

I've been wanting to finish "Dispatch" for a while now but I'm expecting some massive narrative gutpunch and I'm not prepared for this with my dad's passing so it's just been sitting there stuck on episode 6 (maybe 7, I forget).

I loved Alice on Chains so Layne Stanley's death hit hard. Keith Flint from The Prodigy was a gutpunch as was Dolores O'Riordan from The Cranberries.
