Refined cane sugar might taste better (subjective) but it is not healthier than HFCS. Both sucrose (cane sugar) and HFCS are carbohydrates with zero nutritional value: no vitamins, no fiber, no minerals, no protein. Both are pointless empty calories that just make us fat and happy.
