They cut one of the hayfields! Here's wishing them luck.
Yesterday was humid, with one brief squall. This morning it is raining properly, sounding so lovely.
I do wonder about the hayfields around me; they haven't made the first mow and it's _really_ tall and in seeds, but I don't think we've had long enough periods (2-3 days?) of real dryness in months.

RSPB Dungeness, 2 visits today, & 2 new #PWC2026 ticks - Yellow Wagtail & Nightingale (the Nightingale is my first ever on the reserve).
