HotSync is so much fun to work with. I wonder if we could build similar tech for the modern age by just putting the XDG dirs (& Flatpak directories) onto a VFS ...

Btw, if you're using a serial-to-USB adapter you need to install the VCP (Virtual COM port) drivers for your FTDI chip in Windows XP _and_ toggle that little "local" checkbox in the HotSync manager tray icon, else nothing happens when you press that sync button!
