_Monday, August 24, 2026_ Good morning, Twfw. O/ Sunrise slips later into the day as Autumn approaches. The world works a certain way. We ought to take more comfort in that. The majesty of trees, the wave of an ocean, the design of each rose and sparrow; how could they ever be an accident? Back to my traditional poet ways this morning. The past few weeks the entries revolve around AI and algorithms and how faith in them is the reason for all the cultural madness at present. Definitely other topics I'd like to write about, but the sanctity and powers of the written word are my profession. Someone's got to be a voice of reason in all this madness. So I wrote and I write. Thanks for your consideration and time. We do have some work to do to protect the sanctity of language, but working together always makes the work easier. I wonder how America's reaction will be... Two years of daily words a lot of good people I know would like to read placed in popular Internet places everyday and zero response from an American until I started catering to a corporate machine's policy. Until we understand and manage online life better as a people a free America can't exist on our screens. _Filtering freedom through a corporate algorithm removes freedom from the image conveyed._ The answer to why our news and political landscape looks the way it does at present is in that sentence. People haven't lost their minds; they're just surrendering them to video games. But there's poetry in the world and plenty of words about AI ethics already on the site. I'm glad you found me. It's nice to finally be read by a human. Machines have no idea what to do with me. A poet with a new voice and a new message to share is an algorithm's question mark. And how humanity evolves. Dawn. A soft white sky signals a cloudy morning. A plane whirls by. A motorbike revs to speed up for an adrenaline rush. The trees overlook it all, take it in and release their witness in something called air. Breathe it in. Call it Life.
