Cigna told the benefits committee that Tenet Health and Sumner Regional remain in-network, LifePoint will return Feb. 15 (affecting about 23 Rutherford County members), and staff reported positive early feedback from retirees using Humana's Retiree First service and a quarterly reporting cadence.

Cigna representatives told the commission on Dec. 18 they are negotiating with LifePoint/Sumner Regional and with Tenet Health; letters were sent to 122 county members warning a Tenet ambulatory surgery center may be out of network on Jan. 1.
