We went through all the trouble to get an MRI prior authorization. They approved it, but only for a two week window.
The MRI facility booked out 3 weeks.
We called insurance to get the time extended.
They refused, and made us start ALL OVER again with a new prior auth.

lol shopping insurance plans again after not getting insurance last year and ending up having to go to the E.R. and getting a $7k bill and looking at all of the plans that offer 25-50% "coinsurance after deductible" with deductibles that cost more than what my total ER bill was, uninsured.
