I’m genuinely starting to dread the emails I get about a new comment on Ao3 because it is nothing but bots. The last three comments in a row have been fake.

Working on chapter 6.

Arbuckle Beltsworth got his name when I was trying to invent some wizards for a DnD game and I wanted them to have Disc World-esque names

I’ve worked out Aurelia’s backstory now. I also cried over it. So that’s a good sign.

As much as I say I don’t maintain a schedule for #IronRoses I’ve been managing a chapter every two weeks recently.

If I can keep up this pace then with my current outline I might be finished around the end of March, aka just in time for my next birthday on April 1st.

Took me a while to realize the reason I wasn’t making any progress on writing Cinder’s story is because I wasn’t willing to make her suffer within the narrative.

Put that girl in a situation!

Chapter 7 of #IronRoses is now at 4000 words?! Didn’t I just post a chapter nearly that long a few days ago?
*checks notes*
Yup, this chapter is at 4000 words after just a few days.

Really getting into the meat of the story now.
