When you start noticing it, it’s astonishing how many people who claim air conditioning is wasteful and extravagant would never, ever apply that logic to heating (which uses more resources than AC!)
But all of this is also an accessibility issue where the same challenges and excuses limited mobility folks face are being used for a/c.

That is highly implausible. Food irradiation doesn't involve unencapsulated Cs-137. If you have unencapsulated Cs-137 AT A FOOD IRRADIATION FACILITY you have a Goiania level event happening.
