#Kdramas/characters
Agreed! The characters are enjoyable. The violence is more intense than I am used to in kdramas, but not overly graphic.

Started the #kdrama #TheEastPalace . I missed Nam Joo Hyuk! He was in my favorite kdramas like #StartUp and #TwentyFiveTwentyOne
The first episode went fast and defined our characters/world well. It could fit in the #Exhuma universe with vengeful spirits wanting to wipe out an entire family line.

I've grown to like kdramas on Netflix and this is one of the reasons. Even when Hotel del Luna teased a sequel it was obvious that it would be new principal characters with a different story to tell.

This is one of my all time favorite kdramas! I love the rich cast of side characters.

Wow going from Kdramas in the fluffy entertainment genre to DP sure is. A thing. Not only the mood whiplash what with the whole "welcome to the toxic masculinity factory we're all doing terrible here" but also: These characters get to smoke, hold unblurred knives, and say "fuck" SO many times.

i've watched several kdramas in a row that feature a specific house/mansion that one of the characters live in but it's just the exterior. the interior is different every time. and these few i've watched recently isn't even the first time i've seen this house. it's been in a lot of other kdramas too

Hasn’t Samsung had one for years?

I am not into new technology but I know many characters on my #KDramas have been sporting foldable phones forever

Both Beyond Evil and Vincenzo now have reminded me why I fell in love with kdrama in the first place; these longer 16 and 20+ kdramas are where Korean storytelling at their ultimate peak. Where the stories actually had room to breathe and every single characters left imprints on me.

I wish my fannishness didn't need something like 30 eps of a show to really click with characters. I'm so stoked at how much love PHM is getting, and how many people are wild for HR, but I need a good 1000 minutes more than either for the old "Oh, a blorbo!". (This is the only downside to Kdramas!)

Good question. I dunno, hard to figure. I want to say the former, but probably a fair bit of the latter. It's pretty meta and insidery, in that it the characters are all involved in producing kdramas in one way or another (specifically, writing, directing, producing and... product placement 😅).

The casting for #ABonafideKiller is very spot on for all the characters. Glad Kong Hyo Jin actually gets to show her acting talent. #KDramas

Day 3: Sudden Shower. The kdramas Business Proposal and Our Sticky Love. The power of love conquering rain traumas. 💕

It would be one of the first shows I would suggest to anyone wanting to get into Kdramas. Choi Yoo Jin has to be one of my favourite female characters; you can't take your eyes off her whenever she is on screen.

Day 6: Time Travel

#Signal
This version of the time travel plot has characters staying in their own timelines but able to communicate with someone from another era. One of the best explorations of this trope, and one of the best kdramas ever, period.

How much Soju does it really take to get blackout drunk? I can drink one bottle and feel good. but not drunk. My stomach is dead, though. When I see characters with 10/11/12 bottles on the table, I am just amazed. Is this a real phenomenon? #KDramas

I find some dramas genuinely are so slow moving that 1.5xing them makes the characters actually walk and talk at normal human speed, not the speed allowed by terrible gaffer rigging, but that's certain Thai BLs for me, not kdramas

Likes: #kdramas (contemporary romcoms, thrillers), #cdramas (historical romance), BL, webtoons, cannibalism in fiction (been into Hannibal from 2006), omegaverse, critical thinking about media and fandom, yanderes, giving characters Daddy Issues, villains, hentai

Dislikes: nonsense

Bonus points to #RubyRing because the characters are actually in pajamas going to bed not in their street clothes. Hooray for #KDramas figuring that out.

I finally finished #TheScholarWhoWalksTheNight. If you like campy old-school kdramas with beautiful actors over emoting in every scene, sappy music, and do-it-yourself special effects, this may work for you. It was not for me. The only way I finished was laughing along with the comments on Viki.

#QueenWoo: I was very interested to watch a sageuk drama inspired by the history of Queen Woo of Goguryeo, and I absolutely loved the character of Queen Woo in the drama. But everything went by so fast that I couldn’t fully get into the story or characters. Historical kdramas having only 8 eps is-

I feel like a Georgie Romero Is Done For dating sim would be adorable. All art by @apocalypsecowboy.bsky.social !

I also can't wait to be able to do this with my upcoming pilot characters.

SO I LIED about finishing legend of the kitchen soldier.

I ENDED UP FINISHING THE WONDERFOOLS

BRUHHHHHH IT WAS SO GOOD I HOPE WE GET A SECOND SEASON. it had me laughing so hard during some scenes! It's definitely one of my favorite kdramas. the pacing was good. characters were really fun.
