#Keynsianism
Did he also said all these about military keynsianism and the we are surrounded by jungle when he visited you in Moscow Prez?

Absolutely. Keynsianism is so last century
October 10, 2026 at 7:35 AM
I can see you believe that

I do not

If "the labour of the unemployed" releases value that can be exchanged for currency, then the economy expands - that is terms Keynsianism

If it merely results in more consumption of items purchased in the global markets, it will result in inflation

Trump is doing Military Keynsianism, which basically no Democrats has a problem with because it also benefeits their own district via a local arms manufacturing plant or some ancillary industry. This is good for everyone and we‘re just talking war, not even healthcare or service industry.

Yeah, and it continued to be justified even after the 2008 financial crash and even fuckin' Greenspan admitted he was wrong about economics in the inquiry by saying they were sober economists unlike the left.

Can't even stomach proper Keynsianism but they're the enlightened ones.

For those wondering how this experiment worked as well as it did despite momentum going toward greener solutions in an at least partially bipartisan way, you need to remember that at this time the entire reactionary identity was being anti-Obama, and Obama was pushing the Green Keynsianism.

This is despicable. Military Keynsianism is a house of cards, not to mention there IS no deterrence. We can't use the fucking thing without the approval of the US, and nobody in their right mind ever would anyway. It's a colossal waste of public money that could be invested in something useful.

He honestly kind of blundered into Keynsianism when WWII happened after repeatedly backing off from it in the 30s due to his concerns about high deficits. His main faith was in industrial coordination and central planning, which failed.

Or...Did Keynsianism fail in the 1970s
July 27, 2026 at 2:23 PM
I didn't even know about Keynsianism, just that there was a lot of cool old shit from when the government paid people to make and or do cool shit

cosmic vore = landianism as abstracting sex into the machinic while retaining english deceny with a french distance from analysis

atomic keynsianism as nondual with right libertarianism
June 27, 2026 at 9:22 AM
atomic-keynsianism is an idea that relates to anarchic interference with a mutual limit to violence
June 27, 2026 at 7:17 AM
Of course there is money. Keynsianism exists, you know, and we have a sovereign currency. We have way more options than the powers that be are admitting to you.

I mean I didn’t expect him to be ok board with Trump because how can you even invite such a person on a podcast that’s about supposedly „smart people who know better“ but i felt exactly like you. I mean e.g. you can be smart and have different opinions about Keynsianism. I didn’t expect this 😐

hiding coments due to decency boundaries is social keynsianism, where leftism was poised for <free speech to have meaning> instead it acts like a home-owner's assocaition in preventing the non-riff-raff seeing where other non-riff-raff have engaged with riff-raff (as I am in your determination)

In any case, monetarism has not been the core policy of countries for decades. There are elements of monetarism which are useful, as with Keynsianism, as with classical economics - often they overlap considerably. Governments have applied pick-and-mix approaches for ages on a pragmatic basis.

Right but it’s not the 60s so the likelihood of softening the blow through infrastructure keynsianism is pretty low.

Again, they’re not actually much better at building this type of infrastructure than we are.
June 4, 2026 at 8:51 PM
seems pretty obtuse for you to suggest we can only label something as different if it has changed in total. You seem to be arguing that the postwar consensus and Keynsianism has not changed since 1979, in fact has not been replaced by a different consensus that can be called something else
May 13, 2026 at 9:40 AM
It's standard usage to call Keynsianism a governing philosophy. Here are Backhouse and Bateman in the New Palgrave Dictionary of Economics noting that it can refer to a political philosophy or, more narrowly, to an approach to macroeconomic management. It’s a bit odd you don’t know this.

5/ Yeah dude, Russia's economy is going great guns.

They're crushing it.

This is the kind of economic inisght and analysis that made Yanis such an invaluable asset to Greece.

Is monthly inflation of 6% and a 15% interest rate good, Yanis?

Military Keynsianism lmao.
April 8, 2026 at 9:23 AM
Wait, what do you mean by Keynsianism in this context?
April 5, 2026 at 1:17 AM
They are anchored in reality. The problem is that our commentariat still thinks the lies of neoliberalism are true and that Keynsianism which has always worked doesn’t.
April 3, 2026 at 7:51 PM
Keynsianism works
