My hot take: MAGA folks will come to rue Kimmelgate, especially if Hollywood bans together in solidarity and adopts any sort of collective action that draws even more attention to their very unpopular efforts to punish critical speech.

The thing I am learning from Kimmelgate is the size and shape a thing has to be for normies to see it.
Most of the things that horrify me on the daily aren’t visible to an America-sized group of people. Jimmy Kimmel going off the air scales on its own, for better or worse. Good to know.
