I use them to document passing times of buses, métro, light rail and trains of where I'll be doing transit photography, so I can better plan my itinerary and not be stuck somewhere for half an hour and nothing passes by.

Pretty great passenger info screens for a small transit agency. Oakville Transit has the same LCD passenger info display screens from Clever Devices on their new NovaBus LFSE+ electric buses as the TTC has got for the last several years, but for month old buses already has a better layout.

Believe it or not, Oakville Transit, yes a tiny GTHA transit agency in a ritzy town, makes better use of the same onboard PIDs on its new NovaBus LFSe+ than the biggest transit agency in the country. BC Transit in Whistler also has better PIDs screens.
