PSA: HDMI *in* to DP alt mode + USB combiners now exist at consumer prices. The AV Access H2C01 is around $40. I have an HP LapDock I mostly use as a KVM for USB-C machines, but this opens up the support to much more than that.

Today I learned that the steam deck handles the HP Elite x3 Lapdock like a champ!
So does my old S20 too, which means that Samsung did something in the S23 or a dex update or something that just borked working with it and I'm a bit miffed about that.
