so like here, a classic example is that if there's one powerful lategame item multiple people really want to equip, and you get a single copy, you often say nobody can really claim it as theirs for scaling LOL

putting him in dewford hall is kind of clever, i check every area again anyway when im playing fast in case i missed stuff lategame, but trendy hall is specifically a place you might revisit to play around with them saying stuff and talk to all the guys in. nice way to make it more likely you meet
i was wondering about this, the sludge bomb guy clearly isn't there when you first fight brawly. putting him there after norman is interesting, it's the second half of the game unlock point, but also when you get surf. so it's a reward for surfing back to dewford and looking in the buildings again

putting him in dewford hall is kind of clever, i check every area again anyway when im playing fast in case i missed stuff lategame, but trendy hall is specifically a place you might revisit to play around with them saying stuff and talk to all the guys in. nice way to make it more likely you meet
FF7 Remake's lategame having a fast travel system is really funny because the area it works in is just Sector 5 and Wall Market so some of the fast travel points are spaced like 100m apart

i played dimir and i ended up in a dimir mirror match round 2 but i think i made a mistake where, i didn't actually have any lategame control bombs, and the dimir deck i lost to meanwhile dropped both of these LMFAO

stage 16 in groove is also in contention but kinda feels like cheating. like here's a stage of only lategame remixes. of course it's great. i know lots of people find remix 20 kinda underwhelming and i agree but like, idk an underwhelming end medley remix is still a pretty good time yk

Oh I'm aware, just...hate like, some species like pidgeys 3rd form get 200 total stats then starters get like 400 (not 100% accurate, just a old foggy memory) so lategame you'll be punished for not using the mons they want you too.

Oh I'm aware, just...hate like, some species like pidgeys 3rd form get 200 total stats then starters get like 400 (not 100% accurate, just a old foggy memory) so lategame you'll be punished for not using the mons they want you too.

Additional quests are also available for some specific parts of DDSS, like the Mystical Agriculture mod (a very integral aspect of lategame DDSS), finding lots of unique foods, Botania, Blood Magic, and so on. All the mods are actually integrated really tastefully and well.

Dolls have incredibly low max HP. In fact it's hardcoded to not ever be higher than 10. (When it's commonly in the millions in the lategame)
What they do have is unbelievably high defense and evasion. What few attacks hit usually do 0 damage unless they are particularly strong, then 1

emerald giving you marill at the beginning of the game is nice because it makes it more noticeable of a mon, it's really lategame in gsc and not very good

I'm still early in the game and have been switching between teams, I'm terrified to hear all the lategame recruits are so bad (combined with how some characters have basically no dialogue, why is Io even here).

- axes are the best weapon type in this game besides Some lategame swords
- being a physically tanky unit is great in this game
- axes have great combat art synergy
- tobias makes combat arts even better than they already are
- his growths in his key stats are ridiculously reliable

it was also really interesting doing my "stay in the lowest multiplayer matching bracket" Elden Ring challenge run, which meant I couldn't upgrade gear past +3, and ultimately not even NOTICING the difference when I was doing lategame stuff

they overcorrected massively with the unit autolevel compared to 3H i know 3H's autolevel would sometimes net you units that are way better than ones you'd manually level but now a lot of the lategame recruits are worthless because they join so late with nothing unlocked or added to them

did some research on this ability and similar ones that i've seen and from what i can gather this makes it so that despite it being a 2nd tier Class it'll level scale its growths into that of a 3rd tier Class the higher level the character is so it won't be outpaced by lategame classes?
