Leicas. Outstanding heritage. Excellent lenses. Impeccable build quality. Ideal if you believe you might be about to be attacked by fascists.
Photo by Pierre Lavie. Yes this is me. And I threw my Leica. It landed on the bass plate with hardly a scratch. Another Photographer grabbed it along with my phone and I was able to track him later. I was held face down tear gas deployed right in front of me and pepper sprayed directly into the eye.

Leicas are among the preferred war zone cameras for a reason. Frightening that America is a war zone.

So, I did a thing, and now I realize I may have overstated the superiority of LTM Leicas over M Leicas. You may heap derision upon me now or later as is your wont. This M3 *crushes* it for 50 and 90 lenses. M2 and newer? We will see, maybe. My Bessa R2 kinda fills that role. #believeinfilm #mybad

Reminded of how around like 2015 influencers in I think hong kong were buying leicas and literally just carrying them around without a lens as a status symbol thing

This is by far the most satisfying to shoot camera I’ve ever had and I’ve had other leicas, minoltas, Nikons, yashikas, sony stuff, canon classics, you name it. It’s just so perfectly done.
