Time domain multiplexing does not require labeling analytes, which opens possibilities beyond proteomics: timePlex can speed up the analysis of many analytes, including metabolites and lipids.

Can lipids alone map the brain? 🧠

A micrometre-scale lipid atlas of the mouse brain reveals 'lipizones' that align with functional anatomy, and lipid remodelling in pregnancy. Congrats to the La Manno lab in Nature 👇🏻

'Here we show that the innate and adaptive immune responses elicited by LNPs are linked to their ionizable lipid chemistry. Specifically, we show that the amine headgroups in ionizable lipids drive LNP immunogenicity by binding to Toll-like receptor 4 and CD1d and by promoting lipid-raft formation.'

best-suited for delivery to the colon, and another that was optimized to deliver mRNA to mouth tissue. Their thought process? By combining these two systems of polymers and lipids, they thought they MIGHT just be able to get the best of both worlds and get highly potent RNA delivery- AND guess what?
