Beauty on the path on the way north to the second dam (I usually go up to the third and sometimes further, but didn’t get as far today). Glorious colours from the maples in the mixed forest. Lots of oaks including red, white, bur and swamp. Black walnut, willows, cottonwoods a plenty, too.

We have Ellie because her breeder died while she was carrying her first litter and police took her to SPCA where they also tried to kill her but we got to her in time. Barely. I hope whatever happened to that person was painful. It was Las Vegas so it’s not unlikely.

So she might be sick, and vet visits cost so much fucking money before you even know what's wrong. God forbid she need surgery..

The hardware store near me attracts customers with an extensive model train set. The trains chug around the store on overhead tracks. It's fantastic, at least for guys. Also doesn't need kitty litter. 😊
