livefood should only be sold in clear plastic tubs so that i never experience what i just experienced: “hmm what’s in this tub” i said to myself as i cleaned up my room. opened it and released a swarm of black soldier flies

Not that I'm opposed to the idea of livefood in general (I have pets that need to eat live insects too), but the very least the shops could do is recognize them as actual living animals & provide a basic level of care...

been talking to my friends in a pfq server im in shoutout to you guys i love u. but we think it might be that freddo's livefood has bitten/injured him and i need to look into changing how i feed him. which i will do after i get him into the vets

I used this company for reptile food and for Galleria larvae for experimental work.

i do try my best to analyse his behaviour + determine how he's doing. i think he might have been brumating when he was dead asleep before so he may end up back in that state again which isn't as much to worry about but i'm going to make sure any remnants of livefood is gone from the tank for now
