I love how much this looks like a modern luggable
I've got an Elonex 16Mhz 386 luggable with an orange gas plasma VGA display and it is my favourite PC by a country mile. When displaying text orange on black it is surprisingly easy on the eyes. I'm a sucker for unusual display tech though.

Remembering back in the day (before laptops) when my mom was excited to get a "luggable computer." I want to meet the marketing genius who thought the term "luggable" made it sound cool.

Wow, another BBC Micro portable/luggable has popped up on ebay. There was another one sold a good few months back. Very rare item - not too sure how many were actually made. You need strong arms for this one!

so the thinkpad netbook comes with a mostly fucked battery but thats fine because im willing to make this even more scuffed and exclusively use it plugged in. this isnt my real ARM netbook project where ill give a fuck about battery life, thats a project for making a cyberdeck eventually
