#NykaFacts after the rescue from Castrum Centri, Nyka got so caught up in the moment that she kissed Minfilia. And then immediately apologised but Min returned the kiss. Then the lahacred reveal happened thanks Laha. As for Lyseka, it was a bit after the attack on the Reach

Notes: Ship conflict is terribly hard to write but I can certainly do the aftermath! Written for wolyse week 2025 for the prompt 'apology'. Veronyka had come out here to fish. She had, she really had. And yet here she sat, rod and tacklebox and bucket sitting on the salt-crusted dock beside her, her knees drawn up to her chest, face buried in her knees, misery radiating from her. Things had been said. Harsh things in hurt, in anger, in guilt, but they had been said, and they had struck hard. It had been nothing, should have been nothing. She'd just apologised to Lyse after spending several bells feeling guilty over her rekindled closeness with Minfilia on the First, and maybe it had simply been her hormones going a bit haywire thanks to adjusting from the stasis of Light, but something in her had wanted Lyse to be angry at her, wanted something other than the acceptance. And Lyse had, grudgingly, admitted that yes, she was getting a little tired of living in someone's shadow, and Veronyka's guilt had overwhelmed her such that no amount of apologising or explaining had been able to fix it.
