Did you know that Lesotho is the only country in the world entirely situated above 1,000 meters (3,280 feet) in elevation.

The entire country is located in the highlands of the
Maloti Mountains, with an average elevation of about 2,200 meters (7,200 feet).

The border between South Africa 🇿🇦 and Lesotho 🇱🇸 is marked by the Maloti-Drakensberg Mountains.

In the foreground is the small village of Lower Lotheni in KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa 🇿🇦

Beyond those mountains is Lesotho 🇱🇸 the coldest country in Africa, completely surrounded by South Africa 🇿🇦

Couldn't watch the 🟠🤡 last night where one of his dumbass comments was derision of #Lesotho, a country "nobody has ever heard of." As people who have been there know, it's a beautiful mountain kingdom with myriad complexities.

Being proud of his forking ignorance is apparently now the GOP brand.

Dear Trump,

Lesotho is a landlocked country in Southern Africa it is the largest sovereign enclave in the world, and the only one outside of the Italian Peninsula. It is situated in the Maloti Mountains and contains the highest peak in Southern Africa. Here's their flag. It exists.
