Why can't society be...I dunno...less dishonest; and not screw around with other people's stuff?! Initially, single sign-on was a nice perk over multiple user+pass combos, but now this hellscape of 2FA/MFA, authenticators, text codes, one-time emails, passkeys, and whatever else is yet to come. 🔐😵💫😩

if you have MFA/2FA set up, make sure you've got your backup codes in a secure place (these bypass MFA/2FA, so they are dangerous in the wrong hands)
check your session activity periodically. kick anything suspicious & update your password if so. bad actors like to slip in & wait.
