#MISCAST
That was the downfall of Saturn 3 . He was completely miscast.

resident evil 2026 was miscast, the MC should have been less sexy. cant focus on the movie with such a smokeshow on screen 99% of the time

it also LOOKS REALLY BAD. there is basically no good person on that cast. kids dont count, theyre kids. but nick frost? he's literally terrible in basically everything. even dumbledore is miscast. there is no one serious cast in any major roles because no one wanted to fucking do it.

IMHO she was better as a judge . She is a good standup, but I think they are miscast in this. Sad to not have a king as the host. Only show of its kind not hosted by drag performer. Your mileage may vary though. Definitely check out the second season once you finish the first. Some favs show up

saw a bunch of shit about bella Ramsey campaigning to play Claire Redfeild in a future RE movie or was in talks or something and It made me pause because that's a pretty egregious miscast from looks to vibe to everything basically and turns out it's totally fake

This "story" doesn't matter until they address why they actually broke up (Sam) and Charles and Matilde make an appearance. I love Billy but he is so woefully miscast as Cane that I will never be able to get into what #YR is trying to sell here.

I love the movie but omg was that a miscast.

When he chews someone out it was like a teddy bear trying to intimidate you.

Watched the '89 Pet Sematary movie. Lacks the tension, pacing, terror, and power of the book. But as its own film, it's kind of just fine. Decent atmosphere at times, good score, has some solid direction, and features good performances from Crosby, Gwynne, & Cat. Midkiff is miscast as Louis.

I loved it & it might be Tom Cruise’s best role yet! But perhaps he’s miscast because #Digger is nothing like a typical Tom Cruise movie and those who would enjoy the message tend to hate Cruise’s behaviour in real life.

It’ll be a cult classic.

Yeah, this fucks.

I'm still find Brad Pitt underwhelming (tho very pretty) and Tom Cruise DOES give it his all, but is ultimately miscast as Lestat...not nearly as charming or as disarmingly funny as he should be, but he's TRYING really hard.

Mostly the film is BEAUTIFUL. Like...exquisite.

Tommy Tuberville is the most miscast senator ever. He and Darlene Graham are in a death match for least competent, least qualified legislator ever.

Shatner was solid but Nicholson was completely miscast as a counterculture figure. I mean, who thought that was a good idea? And they should’ve gone with Julie Newmar instead of Yvonne Craig.
NEWKIRK & DWYER (NBC, Procedural-Drama, 1965)

A by-the-book realtor (William Shatner) and a Beatnik home renovator (Jack Nicholson) struggle to find common ground on capitalism’s lowest rung. With Yvonne Craig as Millicent the Appraiser and Marianna Hill as Janine the Mortgage Lender.

i’ll say it a million times — LW was miscast as carly. she has never been carly.

I mean, I'm not that kind of Letterboxd poster, the kind who just makes quippy "memeworthy" remarks about popular movies. I only do that when I'm watching a miscast Milla Jovavich play a role that by all rights should have gone to someone capable of portraying sadness.

“Lethal injection is a sinister impersonation of the medical profession,” writes Joel Zivot, an I.C.U. physician who consulted on Christa Pike’s case. “There is no patient, no consent and no healing purpose. Even the drug is miscast.”
Opinion | Christa Pike Has Exposed the Truth About Lethal Injection
Lethal injection failures are not glitches; they are features of the process.

watched brian stokes mitchell's miscast 2026 performance ("back to before" from ragtime, yes i cried) and then went down a rabbit hole of videos of his performances and also of interviews/talkbacks and i just think he has the warmest presence and is such a stunning talent. /theatre nerd

Tom Cruise will retreat into action movies after this bomb. A pity as he tried so hard to carry every scene. The problem is he's miscast.

A better choice for Digger would've been John Goodman (who plays the Trump styled president). Also Sandra Huller did her best but was given nothing to do.

Last night I was thinking his presence is like a scalpel. It takes a really skilled hand to get the best out of it but nothing else is going to cut that deep. He's either miscast or amazing. There is no middle ground.

Well the new Sense and Sensibility is just as pointless and badly miscast as the trailer suggested. Just go watch the Ang Lee one again instead.

Willoughby in particular is SUCH a wet blanket. He'd never sweep anyone off their feet!
October 3, 2026 at 10:07 PM
The Willoughby/Marianne storyline is very poorly handled (Willoughby miscast) but everything else works well. Possibly a better interpretation of Elinor and Edward too, dare I say, and the 90s version is one of my formative texts!! I feel like I'm blaspheming

Man, he looks like he just stepped out from under the hair curler at the salon. He is clean and dry and fatter and older than he ought to be. Yeah he's supposed to be a fussy little man dislodged from his comfy life, but this looks like an italian opera singer miscast as siegfried.

In Magic today, tragedy struck as a local servant miscast the spell Frosty Leaking. A quest has been posted for help with the recovery efforts.

Day 2 31 Days of Horror Movies “Bad Remake” Amityville Horror (2005), and yeah that was most definitely bad. But maybe that makes it a good remake as the original was also terrible. Anyway, this was an incoherent mess with zero tension and a very miscast Ryan Reynolds
