Lebanon isn't "Christian-led". It has a sectarian system with positions allocated based on sects. Yes, the president has to be Maronite, but the prime minister has to be Sunni and the Speaker of Parliament Shia. It's more of a troika system with the PM and Speaker technically holding more power.
The fact that Tucker Carlson is defending Lebanon against Israel on the grounds that it is a “Christian-led country” really gives the game away on what is going on here.
