Originally it was $2. That's two weeks lawn mowing pay from my tightwad Old Man in 1970 when I was 10 years old. Marvelmania stole my money & never sent the posters. The infamous scam that was Marvelmania.

The Steranko poster set from the infamous Marvelmania. I sent in my $1.50 (a lot of dough for an 11 year old in 1971). Never got them. One of the thousands ripped off by Marvelmania.

That's a sweet poster set! The Dr. Doom by Kirby was the one I really wanted. The Spidey & Hulk were also originally drawn by Jack, but Stan ordered them redrawn by Romita & Trimpe.
Didn't matter. Marvelmania founder Don Wallace screwed them all out of pay! And pilfered the original art!
