Kirbtober Day 11: Revenge

Unlike the last time that I drew this boss fight, Kirby is rocking a Copy Ability this time. And it’s none other than Sword! Kirby lost the Hammer Copy Ability after a hit and Masked Dedede Revenge sliced up by the axe that he gained from the room. Kirby decided to reach to his inner core to drag out the Sword Copy Essence to become Sword Kirby. Ya know the drill, Sword Kirby’s design is from World Beyond. It’s been like last year since I drew Masked Dedede Revenge, let’s do that again! Mostly unconscious at this point, King Dedede is left hanging limply in a sphere that his kidnapper made to carry him with ease. But once Kirby enters the picture, he gets brainwashed and forced to wear a mask and cheaply made powerful mechanical hammer. Now no longer himself, the Masked Dedede & the brainwashing of Taranza becomes the body and Masked Dedede wants revenge and with the “power” of Taranza, he can finally let louse and gained an Axe to deal fatal damage to his most vile enemy. Since Taranza is an important piece to the fight because he’s the one who kidnaped him and brainwash to begin with, he makes his appearance in this drawing. His appearance in Castle Dedede cause chaos as he kidnapped the King of Dream Land and when finally confronted by Kirby, he tells everything and instead of attacking him directly, he uses King Dedede has a puppet and turn him into Masked Dedede and uses the strings to control Masked Dedede and to fight Kirby. After defeating both Queen Sectonia DX & his shadow self, the King of Dream Land spots a strange golden mirror and hop on it to be sucked up. Once he awakens, he finds himself in an unfamiliar place, however that same mirror reappears again and summons out a figure who oddly resembles The Lone Warrior from Pop Star and that same double attacks with speed, The only reason why the king can tell this tale is because he block the attack from this dark version of Meta Knight. He doesn’t know the name of this attacker, so he dubs him Shadow Meta Knight and questions why he is even attacking him. Been awhile since I drew Dark Meta Knight huh? While the last time I drew him was in Adventures in Kirby’s New Worlds where I drew him in his Crystal Form, here, yeah let’s go back to basics. His design here comes from his model from Triple Deluxe, lack of armor shoes but has a scar that was given by Kirby after the puff ball defeated him (Yeah I know Meta Knight give Dark Meta Knight that scar but it doesn’t make sense to me since Meta Knight hardly put up a fight against Dark Meta Knight and was defeated quickly, so in my headcanon, Kirby give DMK that scar). Dark Meta Knight was resummoned and with only one thing on his mind: Revenge, he decides to take it out on the King of Dream Land. The background here… an attempt at the battlefield, imma be honest with yall, I don’t think I can do this one-to-one, so enjoy this low budget version of it but with purple clouds. And that’s all for now! Next time, we’ll discover secrets. But until then, I hope yall have a good one! And I’ll see yall next time.

Now playing: Revenge of the King -> (2/2)

After Phan Phan's EX eventual defeat by Fighter Kirby, the king panicked even more and sent in his last loyal servants: Twin Burning Lions EX This is my first time drawing the Burning Lions and well it was difficult, I'm not good at animal proportions but I tried my best here. Both of them will try to chomp down on Kirby in an attempt to get rid of the threat that is in their home. Kirby is once again using what little brain power he has to inhale something cold and he inhaled some freeze cubes to become Freeze Kirby! (No I won't be saying the other word, it has been ruined, so I'll call it Freeze Kirby and I know Freeze Kirby exists and is different but I don't want to risk it.) I struggle with Freeze Kirby's uh... sharp glaciers but I tried my best, it also uses the modern design of Freeze Kirby since RTLD (again, I know Freeze is different but just bear with me on this.) but still using the color change that it grants Kirby with. The last servants had fallen, which made the king fearful, so fearful that he wanted a certain bandana wearing dee to fight against Kirby but he refused to do so since that would not end well for him. The king actually listened to his pleas and apologized as he set off to get his secret weapon for his inevitable battle with Kirby. But what he did not know was that Dee went to face off against Kirby anyways despite his pleas, he is that loyal to the crown. Kirby was in shock that the Waddle Dee he will be facing was the same one who joined up with him long ago to fight against Dark Matter with Team Crystal, and now he has to face off against his friend to stop the King of Dream Land. That Dee is none other than THE Waddle Dee: Bandana Waddle Dee (but he wasn't called Bandana Waddle Dee in both this game and RTDL, so i'll stick with Waddle Dee for now.) Waddle Dee was scared to fight against Kirby when the king ordered him to do so but after the king got convinced by Waddle Dee, he still chose to fight against Kirby. However, he is unarmed in this battle but he won't back down from a fight. I know that the background changes when ya fight against each mid-bosses but I don't want to do different windows and stuff, so ya will be getting the same background that was used for Mr Tick-Tock. Kirby walks into a darkened room but bright enough for him to walk into a higher floor, with a hammer that tells him to get it. And once he gets it, the King of Dream Land hops into the ring to fight him. Their boxing ring this time is different for the last time they fought. Electric bars are middle and top to prevent Kirby from taking an easy option and fly over him and a hammer that can match with Hammer Kirby's sheer power. It's clear to Hammer Kirby that this won't be their usual match, this time, it's all or nothing. King Dedede has been waiting for this moment after his first defeat from Kirby, and many times after that, either his choice or against his will by outside forces beyond his control. Defeat after defeat took a toll on the King of Dream Land before his mind and soul was consumed by revenge, He did all of this for his own revenge and his kingdom as well. But when that fails, he is left with one option: his secret weapon. He leaves his hammer for Kirby to pick up for an even fight, similar to a certain Knight and goes off to grab it. Once Kirby transforms into Hammer Kirby, it was time for: the Revenge of the King. He hops into the boxing ring and reveals himself with a mask and all new and powerful hammer. He call himself: Masked Dedede. Waddle Dee can be seen in the audience chair, he is fine from his battle against Kirby. I did this drawing before but I don't think I ever published it on here but this is the improved version of it. The background here is trying to capture the battlefield of the famous Masked Dedede fight, I think I captured it quite well! But, despite all of his efforts, all of the training. He could never defeat Kirby and once he blasted off from his castle and on to the middle of nowhere. He is left depressed. He walks alone in shame and realization that all of his efforts will be in vain because Kirby is just too powerful, undefeatable even. So, he wanders alone. However, he is a King of Dream Land, and thus had built up a large following of creatures who will follow him to the end of the Pop Star, and those creatures are his most loyal subjects: His Waddle Dees. Waddle Dee (1) follows his King to accompany him during his darkest hour. Waddle Dee (2) decides to follow King Dedede as well, and later on, all of his Waddle Dees start to follow him. Despite his loss against Kirby, they have not given up respect for their king. He will always be one to admire and thus, all of them waddle on slowly, to a brand new day. The background here is directly captured from the famous scene of a depressed King Dedede walking with his Waddle Dees. and I think I got it right.

#kirby #elfilin #bandanawaddledee #kingdedede #maskeddedede #susiehaltmann #sonicthehedgehog #carby #kirbyandtheforgottenland #KirbyArt #SonicArt #NewWorldKirby #Kleki #MyArt #Artwork #DigitalArt
While King Dedede and Adeleine decided to take the Warp Star to visit Waddle Dee Town, Kirby, Bandana Waddle Dee & Elfilin decides to take a more normal ride, by Kirby inhaling a car, he turns into Carby and Bandana Waddle Dee & Elfilin decides to be on Carby and take their ride. But suddenly a ring appears behind them and a blue hedgehog riding a hover board comes in and the ring disappears as quickly as it arrives, leaving the blue hedgehog trap in this world for a time being. Sonic finds himself confused on where he is currently in and even more confused to see Kirby now a car and a chinchilla-like creature riding on top of Kirby who is a car. Elfilin is also confused how this blue hedgehog is here in the New World and able to ride a hover board. Sonic: Opps- must've taken the wrong- Wait, Where am I? Who are you? and why is Kirby a car? Elfilin: A blue talking hedgehog riding some kind of hover board? I have never seen that before. I'm Elfilin, and who are you? Sonic: I'm Sonic, Sonic the Hedgehog. Bandana Waddle Dee: Well since you're here, why not join us at Waddle Dee Town, Sonic? and This is the New World. Sonic: That I can do, This reminds me of the Starfall Islands. I bet there are places to explore. I have not played Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds so I don't know if Sonic puts on his Extreme Gear outfit from the Sonic Riders games or not. Also yes somehow that Warp Ring managed to malfunction and sends Sonic to another place entirely. This isn't a Deltarune drawing. This is inspired though. I know I am very late on this but I figure I should draw it. Susie Haltmann takes the place of well..Susie from Deltarune. I haven't drawn Masked Dedede in a long while, so it's great to draw the Masked Royal Nemesis again. Susie Haltmann wants to battle King Dedede so she bring her own hammer to fight, while King Dedede brings his ultimate weapon, the robotic hammer and a mask to become: Masked Dedede. Susie Haltmann usually has a blaster and her "Business Suit" which is a big mech suit she can use when in a tough situation. But she has other weapons, afterall she's a genius so naturally she'll craft any weapons to deal with the "natives" that she sees as threats. One of them is a hammer, which is something she wants to fight Masked Dedede with. While in the games, she doesn't have a hammer, in Kirby Of The Stars: Sparkling★Pupupu World manga, she does have a hammer which she tries to use it on Kirby. It doesn't go as according to plan though. Susie Haltmann oddly was hard to draw than usual. That's all for now! I still got a few drawings on the drawing board. Until next time, have a good one! and I'll see y'all next time.

The Fun Place on Pop Star, Merry Magoland!

Hello everyone! Back to exploring the wonderful remake of Kirby Return to Dreamland Deluxe. After the events of his own adventures and being in another world, he went back to the main Planet Pop Star universe to built his own theme park, although unlike a certain mad doctor's theme park, this one is 100% danger free and it's loads of fun and activities to do! He also got masks based on other people's likeness and he gave some to Kirby and pals after doing a lot minigame inside of his own theme park. Kirby wears a King Dedede mask and he is happy to meet Magolor again and visit his theme park. Bandana Waddle Dee wears a Waddle Doo mask just to bring home "memories" from an event which happened years ago. Meta Knight wears his second mask on his first mask which is a swordsman of a Matter Most Dark, Dark Matter (Sword). King Dedede panics when he sees Dark Matter (Sword) due to him being possessed by Dark Matter for the first time. King Dedede wears his Masked Dedede mask, although it's the one from Triple Deluxe. Kinda odd how his color is different from his main color for his skin. Manager Magolor shows up to greet them and show them around the place, while holding Adeleine & Ribbon masks. While still using their redesigns I gave them, it's from their past appearances with their canon outfits. I tried my best with Merry Magoland but this is very hard to do, I hope ya like how I did it! Next time, Magolor faces off a tree that wears a crown of the darkness. Until then, I hope y'all have a good one! and I'll see y'all next time.

Kirby Superstar Ultra (DS) by HAL Laboratory

A sprite edit of Masked Dedede's head added over Reaper Sigma's body. He floats in a torn cloak holding his mechanized hammer covered in green electricity. A repost of a first year Sigma Post that I still really like a lot. A sprite edit of King Dedede's head added to Sigma's body from Mega Man X4. His mechanized hammer replaces Sigma's original hammer/scythe. King Dedede gets unreasonably fit in a lot of Kirby encounters, so him being all svelte and buff like this isn't entirely unreasonable.

Bonus Kirbtober Drawing. still the theme of revenge.

This was done on Canvas on May 4th 2025 as part of *Almost* Every Mainline Kirby Game Drawings. This is the Revenge of the Enemy and Masked Dedede Revenge. This was done on Canvas on Jan 17 2025 as a little collection that didn't came to be but based on Revenge of Meta Knight in Kirby Super Star, they even use their old design back in the game. But I didn't knew the sword was golden and not the sliver that it takes on in later Kirby games (minus Kirby Air Riders where it becomes golden again) same art but now Kirby dodges the attack and Masked Dedede is now purple.

ID: An artwork of Masked Dedede standing menacingly against a dark red background with his signature peace sign. The number 27 is above him in red text and a yellow border, while the word "Revenge" is below him in the same style as the "Revenge of the King" title screen in Kirby Super Star Ultra. The RJS4816 signature is to the bottom right in the same text as 27.
