Metacorp has never been trans friendly. FB instituted legal name policies explicitly to cause harm to trans folks. In fact, it's why too many folks found out my legal name back in the day.

Way worse. MetaKey only has two laws: no murder, no slavery. And MetaCorp somehow provides huge workforces at world beating rates to build projects. It's all between the lines, but to me, they're a massive neo-slavery operation using indentured workers and violence to maintain.

True, but MetaCorp/MetaKey are the ultimate distillation of the Cyberpunk Capitalist/Libertarian American ethos that we see in Home of Brave/Land of the Free. Think of it this way, Mega/NeoCorps *choose* Night City and its laws (such as they are) over MetaKey and its lack of any restrictions.

I'm really hoping that the next CP2077 game has some interactions with some more of my favorite factions/cultures, like MetaCorp/MetaKey and Highriders.
The Highriders themselves are one of the neatest allusions to Neuromancer in the game.

Having tried Spoutible, Post and Mastodon, this one feels the most cozy. MetaCorp is a necessary evil. I'm trying to use their platforms only when I have to, not adding another.
