Interesting point (screenshot from bird site) that actually Labour & @LibDems 👉together 👈defeated the Tories in #MidBeds. Given the bashing Labour and LibDems got for both fighting for this seat maybe people should less quick to criticise.

Wasn't Blair's '97 victory as much about Tories staying at home as it was people switching to Labour? While not at the levels seen yesterday, I think we'll see a repeat. Reform robbed the Tories of a victory in MidBeds. So they could become kingmakers in another electoral pact.

I think that given the Tories appear to be on the way out at the next GE , a three way fight is genuinely interesting at this stage of the election cycle. Of course, I do want to see #ToriesOut in Midbeds . Festus (Tory candidate) hasn't impressed me too much so far.
