@MonaApp I’m tend to agree with this article by @gruber I’m really enjoying blue sky and really missing the Mona app quality there. So just wonder is there any plans to make some? https://daringfireball.net/linked/2025/02/02/where-are-the-bluesky-clients

How about an app that remembers where I left off so I can scroll old to new AND puts posts and replies in chronological order without constantly repeating the OG post? Hey @ivory @IceCubesApp @MonaApp — any plans/barriers for Bluesky apps?

A feature set like this will never be available in anywhere else than the Fediverse. Mark my words.

Seconded — while I currently like to read Bluesky on an iPad with @skeetsapp.com I still miss https://mastodon.social/@MonaApp dearly. The UI/UX was excellent (e.g. swipe gestures, the 2nd column for a quick glance into threads etc.). Tapbots’ Ivory not so much (it wasn’t bad, but way overhyped).
Every day I’m hoping for Talbots or the Mona dev to announce they’re working on a Bluesky app.
The iOS community is so alive here that it’s only a matter of time before there’s a truly fire third party client.

I just subscribed to @MonaApp ultra for $20 bucks a year not for the new features that unlocks (which are nice) but rather to simply support innovative fedi app devs. Happily do so with @ivory as well. Long live indie dev for the open social web.
