As part of the Beeching cuts, Great Longstone station, Derbyshire was closed for all except Alice Boardman to support her essential nursing work.

Great walk along the #MonsalTrail. It's a great surface for wheelchairs: flat and level. The scenery is amazing and very varied: I saw farmland, old stations, grand houses, lots of long tunnels, industrial buildings and open grazing land. #WheelchairTravels #WheelchairWalks #DogWalks #PeakDistrict
