Everyday is like sunday (#Morrisssey)

Riot Fest is ending a few hours early and moved up the headliners, but as a bit they should have also canceled Morrisssey

Stop getting Morrisssey / Blur wrong

RIP Paul Morrisssey. I interviewed him for Time Out to tie in with MIXED BLOOD (1985). We got on fine but he was an odd fish, big Reagan fan. Had always been RW, I think, so he probably seemed even weirder than anyone else in The Factory. FLESH FOR FRANKENSTEIN & BLOOD FOR DRACULA = both brilliant.

Eclectic! 🎶
Various indie bands UK/Oz…love the 60s, 70s, 80s rock/alternative and many UK bands. The Clash, The Cure, Morrisssey, OMD…However, there have been many American bands, too. Saw the Violent Femmes two years ago.

That's fantastic, Nic!

Yes, I've been a Smiths/Morrisssey fan forever! xx

#otd in 1997, Morrisssey was in concert at Kleinhan's Music Hall, Buffalo, New York. Indebted for audio and notes to Handsome Devil and Passions Just Like Mine.

RIP Paul Morrisssey

Alan Bennett used to relate how Morrisssey was a neighbour, and used to call over for tea, and would sit there and discuss ONE subject; the career of a long-forgotten music-hall performer, one of those comics who dressed up as a schoolboy, day in day out.

He is not even fun to be friends with.

Are you a Morrisssey fan? I’m getting a similar vibe.
